About Strength2Strength

Good coaching makes starting feel manageable

Strength2Strength was created for people who don’t feel at home in typical gyms: a small, coached group at Coolmine Rugby Club where you know what to do and someone is beside you while you do it.

Most gyms assume you already know what to do

Walking into a busy gym floor without a plan is uncomfortable for almost everyone, and for many people it’s enough to stop them going at all. Not knowing which exercises to do, how much weight to use or whether you’re doing it right is a real barrier, not a lack of motivation.

Clear coaching removes that uncertainty. When a coach has written your programme, shows you every exercise and is in the room while you train, there’s nothing left to guess at. That’s the whole idea behind Strength2Strength.

A word from Darragh

“You’re met with a fist bump and a smile from a coach.”

Darragh, founder and coach

Darragh started Strength2Strength for the people who never felt at home in a typical gym: the ones left to figure it out alone, or expected to keep up with a class built for someone else. He wanted a place where every session is coached, every programme is written for the person doing it, and the coach knows your name by the end of your first week.
